Saudi Arabia has opened 15 national parks for regulated eco-tourism as part of the Saudi Green Initiative's expansion into sustainable tourism. The move positions the Kingdom as a leader in desert and marine conservation tourism, offering visitors unique experiences in some of the most pristine natural environments in the Middle East.

- Sharaan Nature Reserve, AlUla — Home to the Arabian leopard reintroduction program
- Farasan Islands Marine Park — 170+ species of coral reef and the endangered dugong

Conservation Goals
The Saudi Green Initiative aims to protect 30% of the Kingdom's land and sea areas by 2030. Over 10 billion trees are being planted across the Kingdom. Carbon neutrality is targeted for 2060.
