Riyadh Metro Fully Operational, Transforms Capital's Transport

A City Transformed
The Riyadh Metro is now fully operational with all six lines open, marking the completion of one of the world's largest public transit projects. The SAR 90 billion driverless metro system features 176 kilometers of track, 85 stations — including four major interchange stations — and trains that reach speeds of 90 km/h.

Multi-language announcements in Arabic, English, Urdu, and Chinese serve international visitors. Tourist day passes cost SAR 25 for unlimited travel.
Smart Integration
The metro integrates with the Darb app for real-time tracking, journey planning, and contactless payment via Apple Pay, Google Pay, and mada. Free Wi-Fi is available on all trains and stations.
