Pope Leo ‘satisfied’ with preparations for bimillennial of Jesus Christ’s baptism, says Jordanian priest
Pope Leo XIV expressed his satisfaction with Jordan's preparations for the 2,000th anniversary of Jesus Christ's baptism, as conveyed by Father Rifat Bader, a Jordanian priest. The celebrations are set for 2030 at Bethany Beyond the Jordan, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which attracts many Christian pilgrims.
