Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis reached the ⁠strategic island ‌of Perim ‌in the ‌Bab El-Mandeb ‌strait on Friday, four Yemeni government sources told ‌Reuters, moving to tighten ⁠their grip ⁠on a vital global shipping route in the widening Middle East war.
